So the other night a bunch of us got together on Skype and had an impromptu voice chat. The goal of this was to listen to Voice as a group and to have some fun. It failed, but not dismally, due to the fact that Skype has a bunch of different servers. People were getting dropped and it felt like IRC's netsplits all over again. I was having serious flashbacks!
In order to prevent this from happening and to ease the ability to have voice chats in the future, my Seran installed TeamSpeak on his server. Anyone with the TeamSpeak client on their machine (and woohoo, it comes in variants for all OSes!) can join in. I've installed it and checked it, and it works. Now all we have to do is set a date.
I'm thinking a good time for a voice chat might be Wednesday 7-APR at 9pm US eastern time. If that doesn't work for you, please respond in the comments as to what might. Server details will be sent to those RSVPing to ladyr -at- blisstrance -dot- com!
