Haiti Crisis

Eighty percent of the Haitian population lives below the poverty line. They were hit with four hurricanes in 2008, which destroyed 70 percent of their cropland. They have sickness and coups and pain.

Now this. A 7.0 earthquake hit ten miles from the capital city. Aftershocks keep on coming, many over 4.0. That is going to hamper rescue efforts - it's not safe for the rescuers. As I write we still don't even have estimates on fatalities, but it's going to be brutal.

I've already donated, and for the remainder of the week $5 of any CD or mp3 purchased will go to the Red Cross. Please feel free to repost this anywhere you think it'd be welcome.
